Well done!
3) Foaming at the mouth to see where you take it. I think book 3 is my favorite so far. Can't wait to see where you take it from here - turn up the heat and bring it!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14803450317156356529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1178163893409712886.post-87154437608699434052013-08-14T20:23:19.353-07:002013-08-14T20:23:19.353-07:00The fact of it is that this is not out of characte...The fact of it is that this is not out of character for your characters or for teenagers. They are starting to experiment with sex younger and younger. I seriously urge parents to please, please, please talk to your children about sex because honestly, not enough parents do or they wait until it is too late and the kids are already experimenting. With my daughter, I made it an open topic from a relatively young age talking about relationships and anything we'd see on tv or movies (not that she was watching sexually charged tv or movies, but situations do come up). Just from these conversations over the years, when she was an older teen and our conversations changed a little, I knew she was closer to that decision and we were still able to talk about it openly. But I have spent the last 8 years with 11-16 year olds, and I got to tell you, it is shocking what they are doing, and a majority will tell you they never talk to their parents about sex. Being in that situation I could say, Jillian and Pete as a couple don't surprise me. Kate and Jeff having sex at such a young age, doesn't surprise me. Tristan's history doesn't surprise me (although he is a lot more respectful than most of the boys out there). Don't think this is just fiction. Even if you know your child isn't, doesn't mean you shouldn't talk about it. And, the girls are becoming just as aggressive as the boys now. Just look at the glorified behavior on tv and you can see where it comes from.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01488781022907226404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1178163893409712886.post-87958996505240407422013-08-14T08:14:28.432-07:002013-08-14T08:14:28.432-07:001) I'd go with a little on the hot side, but n...1) I'd go with a little on the hot side, but not burning.
2) I was pretty satisfied with what was written. I also thought that the "scene" in book 3 was perfect, considering who the dialog was coming from.
3) So things are about to get hotter? Well, being the perv that I am, I like my YA to be warm. ;) That being said, I think it depends on the book, the characters, the story line, and possibly even the reader. For your series, I think it made sense. You've had a lot of character growth, and staying true to the characters, it was time for it to happen.

2. I think there are a lot of people who are delusional in thinking that kids these days either a) aren't having sex earlier than like our generation or b) don't at least know about it. Sex is everywhere. I've recommended this series to friends, and would let my 13 year old step-daughter read it. Based on some of the movies I know she's seen, and probably the convos she has with her friends, she knows what's going on.

3. Bring the heat, woman! Again, it was the natural progression for your characters, and as a good author your have character growth. Anjiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01716782015737155796noreply@blogger.com
